John Matthews is a practicing shaman of more than 20 years and a leading authority on grail and Arthurian legends. He is the author of numerous successful titles, including a variety of divination systems based on early spiritual beliefs and titles such as Taliesin: The Last Celtic Shaman, The Wildwood Tarot (with Mark Ryan), and T he Camelot Oracle. He has taught many students through the Foundation for Inspirational and Oracular Studies (FIOS), which he cofounded with his wife Caitlín, and regularly acts as a media consultant on various projects, including as an advisor on Jerry Bruckheimer's film King Arthur.
